Reason #7 That I Want to Leave High School: I want to escape everyone's perception of me and just be myself.
They say our teenage years are when we find ourselves, and yet it is nearly impossible to do when you are growing up with your parents' idea of who you are, your peers' idea of you are and your idea of who you want to be. It seems that these ideas are pulling our self-identities in many directions thus never allowing us to explore who we really are.
We can only hope that once the caps are thrown in the air and childhood memories are tucked in boxes that the ideas are released and that we are free to be ourselves.
